Jig Saw
Curve saw is mainly used for cutting metal and non-ferrous metal. When cutting metal, the chip handling capacity is stronger. The sawtooth is larger, which is more efficient in cutting wood and other wood products. Carbon steel curve saw is used to cut various kinds of wood and non-metal. However, when a novice buys a curve saw, he / she is advised to compare it carefully before buying it. Do not think that the curve saw is omnipotent, but purchase it according to the actual working conditions.
Several characteristics of a curve saw 1. It cannot cut straight lines seeing the name of a thing one thinks of its function. It's a curve maker If you add a backer, you can also saw straight lines, but the effect will be a little poor, which is not as good as the electric circular saw. The curve saw is a reciprocating motion, and the electric circular saw is a rotating saw blade for cutting The working principle has been decided. 2. The sawing effect is not so good (the effect will be much better if the high-grade curve saw is matched with the high-grade saw blade.) the section is rough. 3. The saw blade is tough In order to be suitable for making complex curves, the saw blade of the curve saw is quite tough This also exposes a shortcoming When cutting hardwood, due to different wood density, the top and bottom may not be in a straight line The cut section may not be perpendicular to the plate.
What is a curve saw suitable for
1、 For straight-line cutting, use a ruler to draw a straight line on the plate. The saw base is close to the plate surface. Press and hold it by hand and control the progressive direction of the curve saw.
If the cutting line is completely parallel to one side of the plate, it can be assisted by the metal guide in the attachment. When in use, one end of the big head is close to the reference edge of the plate, and the other section is inserted into the reserved socket on the saw base. This guide rail is designed scientifically, with a reference scale on it. Insert the width of the wooden blade you want into the response scale (to calculate the response position of the saw blade, that is, the middle of the base, not one side of the base), and lock the guide rail with the attached two hexagonal gongs. As long as you ensure that one side of the guide frame is close to the edge of the board when sawing, you can cut straight wooden strips. If you want to finish the wood strip and plane the edges, please reserve a few more millimeters when setting the numerical scale.
PS: at the beginning of cutting, the saw blade may contact the wood plate before the guide rail, so it is difficult to ensure full contact between the guide rail and the wood plate. In this case, please loosen the two fixing screws on the saw base, move the base forward and tighten it, so that the guide rail can contact the board first and ensure the correct size of the lower blade.
2、 If the curve cutting is a curve with a small radius, you should buy a play strip with a narrower width. The straight-line saw blade is different from the curve saw blade. If the cutting point is in the middle of the plate, drill a hole with a drill before cutting. Please use the lowest gear 1 for curve cutting.
PS: I tried to cut the S-shaped curve on a 10cm wide board with the straight-line cutting saw blade attached to the saw. If a narrower curve is used to cut the saw blade, a smaller turning radius can be cut and buckled on the wood plate, and fixed at the center of the circle with screws (iron nails may be better, and the wall body is smooth and conducive to rotation) Then fix the saw on the other end of the guide rail after determining the cutting radius with screws, and then the circular cutting can be carried out.
3、 Circular and circular arc cutting (applicable to mod chassis and speaker opening, etc.) this still needs to use the guide rail, and it needs to be processed. If you want to use this function, please drill a hole at the big end of the guide gauge by yourself. The hole diameter is 2-5mm at will (the position of the hole should be 1 or 2cm away from the scale of "0". This integer is to reuse the original scale on the guide rail for measurement). Then screw it back on the plate, fix the center point of the circle to be cut with a nail or wood screw smaller than the hole, and adjust the radius size. If the initial cutting point is in the center of the plate, it is still necessary to drill a hole with a drill as the starting point.
4、 Cutting beveled edges most models can cut beveled edges within 45 degrees. When in use, loosen the screws connecting the base and the saw body, first move the base horizontally and horizontally to the rightmost end, and then move the base longitudinally to the required angle. Those with scales on the base can be referred to. Please reset the base after use. Note: when using this function, the plastic cover for blocking sawdust cannot be put down, so the sawdust cleaning function cannot be used. And this function is only applicable to linear cutting, otherwise the saw blade may break.
The curve saw can be equipped with various blades to adapt to different types of solid wood, such as plywood, particleboard and hardboard. Curve saws are especially suitable for cutting wood. It can be used for straight line or curve cutting.
·When cutting, place the wood on the workbench to ensure that the cutting area is clear to ensure that nothing unwanted is cut.
·Sharpening is done by sharp edges up through the wood, which means that the neat side will be underneath. Keep this in mind when placing special wood in the cutting position, especially if cutting solid wood with a coated or melamine surface.
·The curve saw can usually adjust the speed and has a variable chassis angle of view, which needs to be adjusted according to specific conditions.
Circular saw
Circular saw is a tool that uses single-phase series excited motor as power, and then drives circular saw blade through transmission mechanism for sawing. It has the characteristics of safety, reliability and high efficiency. It is mainly used for cutting wood, MDF, block board and plate board.
Woodworking circular saw is the simplest and most commonly used equipment in wood processing enterprises. There are many types of woodworking circular saws with different functions. Different circular saws should be selected according to the requirements of processing technology. For example, there is a great difference between the longitudinal cutting and transverse cutting models. Circular saws of the same type should not be used for the two processing technologies.
·Like the curve saw, the actual cutting is from the sharp edge up through the wood, so the most neat side will be below.
·Circular saws usually have variable cutting capacity, adjustable speed, variable cutting indicator line, depth regulator, remote lower shield lifting lever, sawdust cleaning function and safety switch.
·Circular saws are also available with circular saw accessories that can be mounted on top of the drill
Angle saw
Suitable for all types of general joinery, such as cutting boards, skirting boards, guide rails and lintels. When a specific angle is necessary, it can realize any cutting, including cutting with angle and title.
The miter saw is a "fixed" saw, meaning that it does not require manual movement. Therefore, you must be very careful not to put your hands in the process of cutting.
·To use a mitre saw, make sure that the wood to be cut is actually clamped, because even a small amount of movement can affect the cutting and lead to poor joints.
·The sawing machine shall be used with a saw frame or possibly a workbench to ensure that the saw blade is visible while the work is being carried out.
Reciprocating saw
Reciprocating saws are usually used for demolition work rather than machining work. This is because they are best suited for making quick and "rough" cuts. They are not suitable for any kind of precise cutting.
Therefore, they are usually used to take out old window frames or even cut tree roots. Due to its shape, reciprocating saws can usually be used to cut positions that other power tools will not be able to achieve.
·When using, both hands must hold the reciprocating saw to keep your saw stable. Placing the end of the tool on the wood may help to keep it in place.
·When using a reciprocating saw, it may be found that the saw blade is caught on the wood, so be careful to cut and ensure that the cut wood cannot be "closed" around the blade as much as possible.
abrader
The polishing machine is a manual electric tool used to polish the wood surface. The key to the operation of the polishing machine is to try to get the maximum polishing rate so as to remove the damaged layer during polishing as soon as possible. At the same time, the polishing damage layer should not affect the final observed tissue, that is, it will not cause false tissue.
The former requires the use of coarse abrasive to ensure a larger polishing rate to remove the polished damage layer, but the polishing damage layer is also deep; The latter requires the use of the finest material, so that the polishing damage layer is shallow, but the polishing rate is low.
·When grinding the ground with a manually operated grinder, the grinding disc is often in local contact with the ground, and the grinding disc is subject to uneven force, so it is damaged quickly, and the consumption of the sand disc grinding disc is very large.
·At the same time, because the angle grinder uses its series motor with poor load capacity, it often cannot bear the pressure in contact with the ground during grinding, resulting in excessive current and easy damage to the motor.
